Faithful to the original script, the greatest love story of all time is told yet again...kinda sorta. When an over-dramatic, lovesick, crybaby Romeo falls in love with straight-faced Juliet from a rival family, forbidden love (and comedy) ensues. A retelling of the original story with contemporary language and comedic bite.

Valentine's weekend, join us for Anaïs Mitchell's haunting, jazz-inflected folk opera Hadestown by Anaïs Mitchell, which follows Orpheus’ mythical quest to overcome Hades and regain the favor of his one true love, Eurydice. Join us for this ethereal and dark look at what can test relationships new and old, Love at first sight and...at last.

We are thrilled to finish our season with quirky retelling of The Princess and the Pea by Mary Rodgers (music), Marshall Barer (lyrics and co-writer of the book), and Jay Thompson and Dean Fuller (co-writers). With many intriguing characters, beautiful classically inspired music and dance (with a twist!), a full pit orchestra and medieval costumes! It's got something for each of our students and audience members of all ages!
